Who we are

Falcon Forged Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as HOA Pass (“HOA Pass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates this website and the contact and demo-request form on it. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through hoapass.com (the “Site”) and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”).

Personal information we collect

In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, which you provide directly or which are generated automatically when you use the Site:

• Identifiers — your name, email address, and (if you provide it) phone number.
• Professional or employment-related information — your role, such as community manager or board member.
• Commercial information — details about your community or portfolio that you submit, such as the HOA or community name, number of communities, approximate homes or units, amenities, integrations of interest, and any message you include.
• Internet or other electronic network activity — limited technical data such as your IP address and referring page, processed to operate the Site, secure the form, and prevent abuse.

We do not collect “sensitive personal information” as defined by the CCPA (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, or financial account details) through this Site, and we do not use or disclose any such information for purposes that would give rise to your right to limit its use.

How we use personal information

We use the information above for the following business purposes:

• To respond to your inquiry, contact you, and schedule and conduct a product demo.
• To answer questions and provide information about HOA Pass.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam, fraud, and other abuse of the form.
• To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising or to build advertising profiles about you.

How we disclose personal information

We disclose personal information only to service providers and contractors who process it on our behalf, under written contracts that require them to use it solely to provide services to us. These include providers of email delivery, database and storage, rate-limiting, bot and security protection, error monitoring, and website hosting.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of HOA Pass, our users, or the public. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell or share your personal information

HOA Pass does not sell your personal information, and does not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to respond to and manage your inquiry and, where applicable, to maintain our business relationship, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. We determine retention based on the nature of the information and the purpose for which it was collected. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the following rights:

• Right to know and access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
• Right to delete — to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — although we do not sell or share personal information, you may still direct us not to.
• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — although we do not collect sensitive personal information through this Site.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@hoapass.com or submit a request through the Site. We will verify your request using information you provide (such as the email address you used to contact us) and will respond within 45 days, with one additional 45-day extension where reasonably necessary and permitted. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent’s authorization and verification of your identity.

California “Shine the Light”

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code section 1798.83) permits California residents to request information about a business’s disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ own direct-marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to operate the Site — for example, remembering your light or dark theme preference and, where enabled, a security challenge that helps us distinguish humans from bots. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we do not track visitors across third-party websites, we do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent changes, and we will post any material changes on this page.
